The City contracted with DDA to complete its first comprehensive compensation and classification study in 2020, establishing a solid foundation for fair and competitive pay. As the labor market evolves and workforce expectations shift, it is crucial to periodically assess and maintain our system to ensure market competitiveness in recruitment and retention, promote internal equity, and budget stability.
