REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
1. Call to Order and Roll Call
Chair Sanders called the meeting to order at 5:31 pm
Commissioners present: Roger Bergman, Bill Delaney, Matthew Sanders, Dawn Speltz, Matthew Olson,
Scott Seys
Commissioners absent: Jonas Courneya, Brian Wright
Council Members: Gillian Rosenquist
Staff present: Greg Simmons, Parks and Recreation Assistant Director; Kevin Martinez Del
Arca, Recreation Coordinator; Al Lundstrom, Parks Maintenance Supervisor
2. Land Acknowledgment Statement
3. Approval of June 23, 2025, Agenda
MOTION by Commissioner Bergman, seconded by Chair Sanders to approve the agenda as presented,
and the motion carried.
4. Approval of May 19, 2025, Meeting Minutes
MOTION by Chair Sanders, seconded by Commissioner Bergman to approve May 19, 2025, meeting
minutes as presented, and the motion carried.
5. Business
a. Commissioners Bergman read their Oath of Office
b. The following parks were visited on the tour: Natchez, Scheid, Gearty, Stockman, Winnetka Hills in
Crystal, MN, and Seeman.
6. Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned by Chair Sanders at 7:40 pm
