GOLDEN VALLEY HUMAN SERVICES FOUNDATION MINUTES
NOVEMBER 2, 1992
GOLDEN VALLEY COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM

The meeting was called to order by Chair Jeff Loeb at 7:05 p.m.
It was moved, seconded and passed to approve the minutes of the meeting of October
5, 1992 as mailed.
APPROVAL OF FUNDING FOR 1993:
It was moved, seconded and passed to provide funding support for Five Cities Senior
Transportation Project.

It was moved, seconded and passed to fund the following organizations in the amount
noted:

It was moved, seconded and passed, to notify the organizations gra.nted funding that
the funding is sub4ect to Golden Valley Human Services Foundation receiving funds
from the organizations operating gambling pull tabs in the City of Golden Valley
in accordance with the Golden Valley Ordinances. That the funds will be paid to
the funded organizations on a quarterly basis in 1993 and further that the funding
mayor may not be available for 1994.
It was further passed that the organizations operating charitable gambling in the
City of Golden Valley be provided with a report showing where the Golden Valley
Human Services Foundation allbcated their funds for 1993.
It was moved, seconded and passed to make the above recommendations to the City
Council of Golden Valley for their consideration and approval.
It was moved, seconded and passed to invite the executive director and a board
member who resides in Golden Valley, to make a presentation abbut their organization
and services to the next meeting of the Golden V~lley Human Services Foundation.
The following organizations are so requested to attend:
Home Free Shelter;
PRISM;
Detached Worker - YMCA (as alternate)
The next meeting of the Foundation will be January 25, 1993 at the Golden Valley
City Hall.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 pm.
