GOLDEN VALLEY HUMAN SERVICES FOUNDATION
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF MARCH 6, 1995
HELD IN THE COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM
MEMBERS PRESENT: Sue Virnig, staff laison; Gloria Johnson; Don Anderson; Jay
Hoffman; Robert Blenkush; Ruth Heaner; Bob Lang;
MEMBERS ABSENT:

The meeting was called to order by vice chair Ruth Heaner at 7:05 PM.
I. The minutes of the meeting of February 13, 1995 were amended to read
that article III, A and B were "unanimously passed"; The minutes were approved
as amended.
Cal Stoll; Jack Cole; Jennifer Smith; Elissa Heilicher; David
II. Craft sale on March II, 1995, 9:30 - 5PM was reviewed.
A. Foundation members volunte~red for working assignments.
B. David Albersman will pick up the food and deliver to the store
around 7:30 AM. He will also supervise the vendor's car parking
to see that they park in the vendor's area to allow customer car
parking spaces in front of the store.
C. Griswold Vending Company is donating coffee and lemonade to be sold
for 50~ p~r cup. Pop in cans was purchased to be sold at 50~ per can.
D. Note cards will be sold for $3.00 for a set of 4 including envelopes.
Golden Valley tee shirts will be sold at $8. forM, L, XL; $10. for
XXL. Each person who's photo Was used for the note cards face will
receive gratis from the Foundation one full set of four plus 5 additional
cards of their particular photo including envelopes.
E. The clean up the store crew members will start at 6:30 PM, Thursday.
The crew will sweep, vaccuurn and re-tape vendor stations on the floor;
F. The art school on Highway 55 is unable to paint the windows due to
finals of students. Another volunteer group will be searched for to
paint spring scenes on the windows.
III. New business:
A. The next me~ting of the Foundation will be April 10, 1995, 7 PM, at
the council conference room.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 PM.
