Minutes of the April 12, 1999 Meeting
Golden Valley Council Conference Room
Members Present: Hilmer Erickson, Karen Neis, Gloria Johnson, Vita Wilson,
Mary Moore, Jeff Hanson, Helen Bassett and Sue Virnig, Staff liaison. Bob Lang,
former member, was also present.
Members Absent: Lori Heilman, Terri DeVeau, Carolyn Fiterman, and Elissa
Heilicher.
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:10pm by Chair Jeff Hanson.
Election of Secretary: Hilmer Erickson moved and Gloria Johnson seconded
nominating Karen Neis as secretary. Karen Neis agreed to take on the
responsibility. Motion was passed unanimously.
Approval of Minutes: Hilmer Erickson moved and Gloria Johnson seconded
approval of the January and February minutes. The motion passed unanimously.
Run the Valley: We are set for the run. Everyone should be there by 7:00am.
Golf Tourney: Rita Wilson, Helen Bassett, and Mary Moore volunteered to call
former sponsors for the Golf Tournament. Jeff Hanson will call John Hancock
and Morries Mazda. Karen will send out letters for her contacts for gift
certificates. May will kick off the tournament planning.
Adjournment: The meeting adJourned at 8:00pm.
