GOLOEN VALLEY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

A regu1ar meeting of the G�lden Valley Board of toning Appea1s was
held on Tuesday, March 8, 1966, at 7 :30 p.m. at the Golden Valtey
Civic Ce�teS 7800 Gotden Valley Road, Golden Valtey, Minnesota.
Board appointed chairman pro tem Christiansen presided and the
foilowing members were present : Swedberg and Anderson. Aiso
present were Senstad, Voss and Phyltis Jordahl .

A motion by Anderson seconded by Swedberg to approve the minut.es
of February q, 1966, carried unanimously.
66-3-1 Fred Nelson (6) 4960 County Road 66
The petition is for the waiver of Section 3.02 of the Zoning Regu-
1ations. The petitioner desires a waiver in order to buitd two/
two family dwellings on part of Lot b2, Auditors Subdivision No. 330.
The proponent stated that he wouid petition for approvat of the
Nyberg Additia� Ptat , which provides for two double bungalow lots
and one single famity lot. This plat was approved by the Planning
Commission in January, 1964. However , the petitioner withdrew the
plat before Council action was taken in March, 1964.
A motion by Anderson, seconded by Swedberg to deny the petition for
two/two family dwellings on Lot 62 in acc�rdance with the proposed
Nyberg Addition carried unanimousiy. The Board, however, pointed
out that this does not preclude the proponent from redesigning the
piat and requesting a waiver f�r one double bungalow fronting on
County Road 66 with single family lots atong Regent Avenue.
The Board of Zoning Appeals referred the proposed plat to the Ptat
Committee of the Planning Commission for reconsideration.
� 66-3-2 Dahiberg Electronics , Inc ( 17) 7731 Sixth Avenue North
The petition is for the waiver of Section 6,03 of theZoning Regu-
lations. The petitioner desires a waiver of 28.7 feet to a front
yard setback of 6.3 feet for an existing Light Industrial Building
on part of Lot 57� Auditors Subdivision No. 322.
Mr . Robert Geib of Dahlberg Electronics and Mr , Glenn Burnett of
Volp Construction Company exptained their petition.
A motion by Swedberg, seconded by Anderson to approve the waiver for
a 6.3 frontyard setback stipulating that Vil1age Ordinances and
Regutations shatt be complied with in all other respects, carried
unanimously.
The Board also rec arnnended that the Village Engineer make arrange-
ments for a NO PARKING sign in front of the Dahlberg 8uilding or

mark the pavement and ctearly identify �erking spaces. All of
the parking in front of the bui1ding is on street right-of-way.
A motion for adjournment was entertain ed at 9;00 p,m.
