APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOVED by Christiansen , seconded by Swedberg to approve the minutes �f November $, i966, carried unanimously. 66- 12-29 Demac Inc ( 11 ) 6155 Duluth Street The Board rec�gnizes the withdrawat �f this request by the petitioner , 66-12-30 Dr Ronald N Berry (7 ) 924 Adeline Lane The Board granted the petitioners request for deferral for one . month, 66- 12-31 Donald R . Axels�on (4) 3000 Lee Avenue North The Board rec�gnizes the petitioners withdrawal �f the petiti�n and rec�gnizes that he is buiiding according t� c�de. 66- 12-3b I T Ma�s (20) 1413 Independence The petition is for a waiver �f Secti �n 3 .07 of the Z�ning Code. A waiver �f 11 feet to a frontyard setback of 24 feet on Winsdale Street . MOVED by Anders�n, seconded by Christiansen to grant the waiver , carried unanimous1y. 66- 12-37 Dr John W Witzig ( 11 ) 2040 D�uglas Drive The petitioner is requesting a waiver of Sections 10.06 � 10.04 �f the Z�ning C�de, The petiti�ner desires a waiver of 45 � to � setback �f 5� �n the north arid south side yards and 25 ' to a setback of 25� and 15 ' to a setback �f 20� on the front yard; ait t� be used for parking. The petiti�ner also desires a waiver of Secti�n 10,04 of the Zoning Code for the construction of a tw� st�ry buitding, The B��rd wishes to have the f�ttowing entered into the minutes : It was noted that at the time zoning was granted f�r this par- ticutar parcel that the Planning Commissi�n placed a stipulation that the "Village Ordinances and Regulations shall be complied with in all other respects" {see P C minutes 6- 16-66} . � � GV Board of Appeals 12- 18-66 Page 2 The Board wishes to reaffirm this position along with the fotiowing observation. It is felt by the 8oard that no particular hardship exists in this case and that the terrain and t�p�graphy just does n�ot warrant a two story building at this tocation. The Board also wishes to make mention of the fact that the area surrounding this parcel is , f�r the most part , residential in nature and they feei that a two story building would be over - whel�ning in this area. MOVED by Swedberg , seconded by Christiansen, to d�ny the petition for variances for the following reasons : 1 . The B�ard does not believe waivers should be granted at this locati�n f4r the reasons atready stated. 2 , The Board is of the opinion that it d�es not have the power to grant such a variance as requested in this petiti�n.
