May 9, 1967
A regular meeting of the Gotden Va11ey Board of Zoning Appeals
was held Tuesday, May 9, 1967, at 7 :30 p,m, at the Golden Vall�y
Civic Center , 7800 Golden Valley Raad, Golden Valley, Minnesota.
Ghairman Christiansen presided and the following members were
pres�nt : Anderson, Jensen, Vetz, Raugland. Also present were
Ofito Schmid and f'hyl l i s Jordahl .
ApPROVAL OF MINUTE5
MOVED by Anderss�n, seconded by Jensen, unanimousty carried, to
approve the minutes of Apri1 11 , 1967,

The petition is for the waiver of Section 3.07 of the Zoning Code,
of 2 feet to a frontyard setback of 33 feet for both homes on the
proposed McDougall -Juris Ptat.
The Board recommended approval flf this waiver pending approvat o�
the propflsed plat by the Viltage Cauncil . MOVED by Velz, seconded
by Anderson to approve the petitioners request, carried unanimousiy.

The petitic�ners withdrew their request, The Committee recommends
that the application fee be refunded.

The petition is for the waiver of Section 3.07 of the Z�ning Code
of 10 feet to a frontyard setback of 25 feet on CSAH 66, a waiver
�on Regent Avenue Nflrth of 10 feet to a frc�ntyard setback �f 25
feet for a proposed residential dwelling,
MOVED by Jensen, sec�nded by Andersc�n, unanimously carried tQ
approve the petitioners request. It was noted by the Board that
a definite hardship exists since this triangularty shaped 14t
requires 3S foot setbacks �n fihree sides.

The petition is for the waiver of Sections 3.041 of 4,000 sq ft
t� 14,750 sq ft and 4,375 sq ft to 14,375 sq ft for the minimum
area; atso a waiver of 29 feet to 121 feet and 25 feet to 125 feet
for minimum frontage for two double dwe1lings,
MOVED by Anderson, seconded by Velz to deny the petition, carried
unanimously. The Committee noted that the tots are substandard
in size and feeis that no reai hardship exists regarding their
location.
