MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
GOLDEN VALLEY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
JULY 22, 1981
A special meeting of the Golden Valley Board of Zoning Appeals was held at
4:30 P.M. at the Civic Center in the Council Chambers .
The following Bo�rd m�mbers were present:
Art Ftannagan, Chairman
Mahlon Swedberg
William Forster
Glen Christiansen
Absent by prior arrangement, Mike Sell .

The Petition is for waiver of Section
5.05 �B) for 60' off the required 100` setback required for
industriat property abutting residential zoning to
a distance of 40' from the west lot line to the
proposed structur-e at its closest point and for
10' off the required 50' of green area to a green
area of 40' as established by the building setback.
The petition was in order, signatures of approval had been obtained from alt
adjacent properties. Notice had been sent of this special meeting to all
adjacent properties by the City.
Mr. Charles R�dtoff, architect and partner for M � K Properties, was present.
He reviewed hi� proposed plan for office and warehouse condominiums and ex-
plained, as he had at the Board m�eting of July 14, 1981 , his intricate
financing and time ta61e of commitments to build the structure.
Mr. Radtoff agai� emphasized he was not previously aware of the expiration of
his original approval . He said the strueture and waivers as requested are
exactty as 6�fore.
Mahlon Swedbe>rg �noved to approve the waivers as r�quested, noting they had been
previousty granted by unanimous approval . Second by Glen Christiansen, upon
vote motion carried.
There being no further business on the agenda before the Board, it was upon motion,
second and carried to adjourn at 4:50 P.M.
