The regular meet�.ng of the Golden Vallep plann3ng Commiss3on
was held at 7:30 P.�. , in the Village �iall. The �ollo�sing
�emb�rs were present:

The following correspondenee w�,s received: ,
1. Letter from I�r. �oes, chairman of the pl�.-� committee, rega,rd-
ing the property �t the corner of Douglas Drive and St. Croix
A�enue. The p�eli�inarq pl�t was �ceepted by �he plat committee
with the Folloaving reser�ations :
"�.. All lo�s must have a� lea,st 100 ft. fronta,ge and
12500 sq. ft, of area. V�e que�tion t�,e a�rea of those
lots checked with red pencil. '
b. Proposed road�ap �.long north aide of r�.ilroad right
of v��,g► should be 60 feet wide the eame as the other
roads v�ith nrovision for dr�,inage �,long both s�,des. This
�ill cut do�n. the area oi the lots borc�ering alon� this
roa,d and ffi�.y require redividin� to allow for the above area �
and frontage requirements.
c. No lana ha,s been provided for park or �l�,g �,�ea as
required by ordinance. Such a.rea should be at least 5�1 �
of the total area of the entire area and should consia-�

d. AZ1 pro�oeed roads seem to line uv e�ith the existin�
roada south of the tr�ek with �he excent3on of the half
road pronosed for the western edge of the tra.ct, v�hich ,j
v�ould be a eontinuation o� H�m�shi�e Ave. North. As
_ shaavn uAOn the �ro�osed plat, there �ould be an off-set
of a�?�rog3.mately 100 ft. Roundia� the corn�r of. th�
sou�h.west corner lot �ould take care of this, or else,
eliminate this 30 it. roa.d.�vap and plat �, half block of
lots along the �vestern edge of tr�.ct.
c. Provide 5 ft. e�sements along the rear edge of all '
lots for use of utilit3es.

side of Golden V�,lley Road bordering on the east edge of the
Shrine Golf Course:

eimple m�,tter to use one lot vix. lot 454. to be grad.ed

The rem�inder of the road across the bottom of lot �6 could

"Provision for d.rainage along the ne� roads should be

at the intersectian of Golden Va.11ey Road and the ne�v
north-south road which �ould be designated �,s Id�,ho Ave.
North, and at the north end of this road and the extension
� of Phoenix St.

Commiesion meeting.
Adam Parzgck, 2000 Douglas Drive, who has a 66 ft. �ide lot,
w�.a.n.ts to build a gar�,ge 5 ft. from his south lot line. The
Pla,nn3ng Commission suggested th�.t he defer action on this �
until the ordina�.ce committee has made a, thorou�h study of th3s
nev� ordinance.
