Mr. Armstrong appeared in a request for re-zoning from
Open Development to residential�, an are� bounded by ,
Golden Valley Ro�d on the south, Noble Avenue North
on the east and to follow a line on the north side of
St. Cro3.� Avenue z�ortherly to the north boundary line
of the Vill��;e of . Golden Valley. Nr. Niorton moved_ that
this re�u�st be referredto the zoning committee for
furthEr study. Ewald seconded, carried.
N:r. Elmer Cr. owl present•ed a proposal for an extensirn of
M�jor Avenue and Lee Avenue North, Nerribee Addition, Nir.
Crowl also requested a whiver of lot front footage rea-
. uirements for new lots to be p�ated in �his new addition,
cl�imina a hardship due to t,he original p3�.tting of this
�rea. Nir. Lynch moved that the plat as pPesented be
. accepted �lon� with t heextension of Niajor and Lee Avenues
with the stipulation t•h�zt sufficient land be aequired
from Lot 1, Block 1, Nerribee Hills so as to provide a
50 foot ri�ht-of-way where Lee Avenue enters H�mpton Road.
Also a seconcl stipulation th^t corner lots 1 and 12 of
blocks 2 and 3 have full 100 foot widths with the deficiency
a.s submitted, be divided equally between lots 2, 3 11 and 10

1�".r. Stark ap�eared in behalf of NIr. Enoch Anderson requesting
that the property owned by t he above on the Southwest
corner of Golden Valley Road and Highway 100 be considered
for a commercial building. This was referred to the
zoning committee for further st�adg. ,
Mr. Pearson appeared requesting advice as to whether or
not he could build homes on 62 foot lot� platted be�or.e
the present 100 foot requirements came into effect at .
Lee and �yZe Avenues . The planning Commission decided
that, since this plat is an old plat not under �the
jurisdiction of the new platting ordinance, Nir. Pearson
may build as he ple�ses provided side lot setbacks are -
maintairied.
NTrs. Green appeared reauesting information re�arding a
proposed lot in the Shan�ri-La Addition. It was
resolved th�t due to extenuating circwnstances, t his
be referred to the Villa�e Attorney for a ruling.
Mr. P.B. Olson re-appeared requesting approvel of a
proposed plat for this Hidden V�lley Addition as advised
by the Plannin� Comn:ission at the Narch 11, 1�::51� meeting,
pendin� further stu�y by the plat committee. Nir. Lynch -
moved th^t the pl�.t be accepted with the proviso that
Mr. Olson obtain dedication of the ro2.dway called -
Bonnie Lane permittina access to this property. Also
providin� th�t only the western block of the 26th Avenue
extension be �r�ded. The motion died for lack of a
second. d� �ir. Olson w.as advised to
re-submit his plat subject to �he above conditions.
Mr. Cleo Kennedy appeared requesting a side lot w�iver
for Lot 6, Block l�, of. Kennedys South Tprol Hills Addition.
��,� was advised to submit a plot plan showing house location
for the commissions further study. ,
Mr. G. Trotland and Nlr. Gaulke presented the final �lat _

for 'Il�tlands Twin View Addition� for final accep�ance,
along with Nir. J.J. Oys affidavit for the exten�sion of �
Ang�elo Drive. Mr. Lynch moved that the plat be aecepted.
Patterson seconded. Carried.
N;r. Champlain �ppeared for L.Z. Carlson �ith L� grpposal
for revision of an old plat of the 2nd Addition to •
Woodl�wt� P�rk. He was advised to present a plat of his
propo��l a� � ��i� next r�onths Pl�nning Commission meeting,
Tillman renuest for lot frontage waiver..
Mr. Patterson moved that this body feels that there
would be no violation of principals to permit a house
to be built on lot 3�, Block 6, �lenurban Addition�
provided that such a home require no ��^iver of side
lot restrictions. ��e are informed th�t deed restrictions
applp and ou� recommendations can have no force unless
and until th'e deed restriction requirement of 75 foot
frontage is removed. Ew�ld seconded, ca°rried.
