A regular rr�eeting of the Golden Valley Planning Commission was he1d on
Thursday, May 13 , 19b5 at ] :30 p ,M, at the Golden Valley Civic C°nter,
7300 G�lden V�liey ��ad, G��lden Vatley, Minnes�ta. Pres�dent i��ugland
presided and the fs�llowing members were �resent : Straw, Senstara,
Jensen , Bromschwig , Brown , Bedwell , Hetman, Ve1z, Discher , and Van Ha:�er .
Also present were S�rensen, Lynch, Voss and Phyllis Jordahl .
Parf� B�ard �rembers , R�elke, Peterson, Scheffler and John Brenna, were
pr�sent t� explain the �veral1 development flf the Golden Valley Park
System. At the same time, the Park Board exp1ained their f�rthcoming
Pari< Development Bond Issue and asked the Planning C�mmissi � for their
endorsement .
The Planning Commission members explained that the C�mmission cloes not
give endorsements per se, but is in agreement withthe overall planning
of the Park System in Golc�en Valley.
A m�tion by Brown , seconded by Hetman st�ting that the Planning
Commission is in general agreement with the �verall planning of the
Park System in Golden Valley and the Planning Commissi�n hopes that they
can acheive their Long Range Park Plan, carried unanimously.
A motion by Discher seconded by Jensen, t� approve the minutes of A�;ri1
15, 19�5 �s mailec� carried unanimous1y.
