MARCH 14,1951
The regular meeting of the Golden Valley Park Board was held at
the home of J.G.Boyer 6500 Phoenix St. at 8:00p.m. March 14, 1951.
President, J.G.Boyer presided. Mr. Moe -s, VicePresident was absent. ROLL
Minutes of the February 14th meeting were; read and approved. CALL
MINUTES
1Jr.Boyer and "r.Bies attened the Village Council meeting on
February 16th,1951 at which time they recommended that the Village
Council continue to allow dumping at the Harold Avenue Dump. DUMP
On February 20,1951 damage was done to the church basement by
workers at the dump. The Rubbish Haulers Association agreed
to repair windows and to waterpro6f the walls.
The secretary wrote to Sherman Nursery of Charles City, Iowa
requesting a price list on American Elm trees.

With the possibility of lifting the ban on tl,'e useof steel for
playground equipment, the Park Board will inquire concerning BACY'STOPE
the purchase of back stops for the Diamond Ball Colarts.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:45p.m.
