Minutes
November 12, 2012
Present: Hilmer Erickson, Kathryn Frommer, Katie Hart, Brenda Hayle, Alan Ingber, Connie
Sandler, Toots Vodovoz and Peggy Watkins. Also present: Joanie Clausen, Council Liaison,
Jeanne Fackler, Staff Liaison and Cheryl Jensen, Interim Director PRISM.

Call to Order: Erickson called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.

Canvas Health/Crisis Connection: Funds to be used to continue phone support.
Crisis Nursery: Funds to be used to provide support and care to families in crisis.
Dinner At Your Door: Funds to be used to supplement clients unable to afford delivery and
subsidize meals costs.
Home Free: "Since the contract with Home Free is not being renewed by the city, the GVHSF
has withdrawn the allocation.
PRISM: Funds to be used to provide emergency and support services for Golden Valley
residents.
Senior Community Services HOME: Funds to be used to fund the sliding fee scale to assist low-
income Golden Valley seniors.
Senior Community Services Outreach: Funds to be used for direct service.
TreeHouse: Funds to be used to offset the cost of transporting teens to the TreeHouse facility in
New Hope and St. Louis Park.
YMCA: Funds to be used for program scholarships for Golden Valley residents.
New Event:
Sandler said a tentative date of April 12 has been set for the Tq Men's Chorus Concert. The
date has not been confirmed by the Chorus Director. CommigWh''members asked for an
alternate date since that is the evening before Run the Y10#40 ,
