public is invited to attend Council/Manager meetings and listen to the discussion; public

Summary
Three Rivers Park District staff will be in attendance to present the outline for the Sochacki Park,
Mary Hills Nature Area, and Rice Lake Nature Area proposed improvements. This proposed
project is a partnership between the cities of Golden Valley, Robbinsdale and Three Rivers Park
District. Two public input meetings were held to solicit information from residents to guide the
recommended improvements for the 67 acre natural park land. Presentation will include vision
for the project, proposed ownership recommendation, recommended governance policy board,
proposed capital improvement projects, programming of the park area and timeline for the
improvements.

Summary
Three Rivers Park District staff will be in attendance to present a project proposal for the addition
of a new nature education and active Pathway to Play trail for families at Schaper Park. This
proposed project is a partnership between the City and Three Rivers Park District. Presentation
will include vision for the project, location of new destination play area/trail, proposed capital
improvements, and timeline for the improvements.

8. Set Neighborhood Meeting Dates and Locations

Summary
At the City Council Goal Setting Workshop the Council determined that they would conduct
Neighborhood Meetings. These meetings would have an agenda, meetings would begin with an
explanation that no opinion or action could take place, all meetings would be posted, location
would have to be open to the public and accessible by all, would be held quarterly on established
dates and not during the fourth week of the month.
