Section 5.36:
On-Sale Cocktail Room License
Subdivision 1. On-Sale Cocktail Room License
A Microdistillery licensed under Minnesota Statute, Section 340A.22 may be issued
an on-sale liquor license for the on-sale of distilled liquor produced by the distiller
for consumption on the premises of or adjacent to one (1) distillery location owned
by the distiller, subject to the following conditions:
A. The distiller may only have one (1) cocktail room licensed under Minnesota
Statute 340A.22 and may not have ownership interest in a distillery licensed
under Minnesota Statute 340A.301 subd. 6(a).
B. No other beverages containing alcohol may be sold or consumed on the
licensed premises, other than the distilled spirits produced by the
microdistiller upon the microdistillery premises.
C. No single entity may hold a cocktail room license under this Section and a
taproom license under Section 5.34 of the City Code, and a cocktail room and
taproom may not be co-located.
D. The hours of operation shall be limited to the hours set forth in Section 5.42:
Hours and Day of Liquor Sales, subd. 1.
E. Nothing in this Section shall preclude the holder of a cocktail room license
from also holding a license to operate a restaurant at the cocktail room
location.
