Section 25.09: Zoning Moratoriums
Ordinance No. 469, adopted February 6, 1978, places moratorium on development
in Valley Square Area to expire January 1, 1979.
Ordinance No. 499, adopted September 17, 1979, places moratorium on
development in Trunk Highway 12 Area to expire September 15, 1980.
Ordinance No. 618, adopted April 3, 1984, places moratorium on development in
Golden Hills Area to expire April 15, 1985.
Ordinance No. 707, adopted March 15, 1988, establishes development restrictions
in Highway 12 for a period of 180 days following publication with a procedure for
extension of an additional 180 days.
Ordinance No. 12, 2nd Series, adopted February 21, 1988, amends Ordinance No.
707 Extending the Development Restrictions in the Highway 12/394 Corridor to the
Earlier of April 28, 1989, or the Effective Date of the I-394 Overlay Zoning District
Ordinance.
Ordinance No. 30, 2nd Series, adopted September 19, 1989, restricts minor
subdivisions under City Code Section 12.52 on all property lying within residential
districts for a period of 180 days after its effective date, on publication, of
September 27, 1989.
Ordinance No. 304, 2nd Series, adopted June 15, 2004, restricts development on
location of adult establishments pending completion of a study and adoption of
amendments to the City's Zoning Ordinance for said establishments for a period of
one year from its effective date, on publication, of June 24, 2005.
Ordinance No. 440, 2nd Series, adopted June 1, 2010, restricts certain
development in Expressway International Park in the Douglas Drive Corridor for a
period of one year from its effective date, on publication, of June 10, 2010.
Ordinance No. 460, 2nd Series, adopted July 5, 2011, restricts on Certain
Development in Expressway International Park (Blocks 1 and 2) in the Douglas
Drive Corridor for a period of one year from the adoption date.
Ordinance No. 522, 2nd Series, adopted July 1, 2014, restricts recycling centers for
a period of six months from adoption date.
Ordinance No. 530, 2nd Series, adopted September 16, 2014, restricts Subdivisions
and Planned Unit Developments that include Single Family Residential Components
for a period of six months from adoption date.

Ordinance No. 533, 2nd Series, adopted November 5, 2014, amending No. 530
which restricts Subdivisions and Planned Unit Developments that include Single
Family Residential Components for a period of six months from adoption.
Ordinance No. 549, 2nd Series, adopted March 26, 2015, adding a Month to the Six
Month Moratorium on Subdivisions and Planned Unit Developments that include
Single Family Residential Components effective upon adoption.
