Meeting of The Civil Service Comr-iission at Village Hall, called to order
at 4:00 P.M.
Members present: Hans Reiss, John Enghauser, Ray Currey
MOTION by Currey, Second by Reiss that the Civil Service Con -mission conduct
a regular Civil Service Examination for the position of police patrolmen,
such examination to be held at lkleadowbrook School on April 4, 1959, at
9:0`0 A.M. Motion pas,.ied.
MOTION by Currey, second by Reiss to publish notice of Civil Service Exami—
nation in the Suburban Press (the official Village newspaper) in the issue
of February 26, 1959 and again in the issue of March 5, 659 and to publish
the same notice in the Minneapolis Star in the issue of March 8, 1959.
Motion passed.
MOTION by Currey, second by Reiss to give the oral portion of the Civil
Service Examination at Meadiwbrook School on April 18, 1959, commencing at
9:00 A—M, conducted by a panel of one man from the Federal Bureau of Inves—
tigation, one man from The City of Minneapolis Traffic Bureau and one subur—
ban Police Chief or Assistant Chief, and at least one representative of The
Golden Valley Civil Service Commission. Motion passed.
MOTION to adjourn carried unanimously.
