Minutes of the Civil Service Commission Feb. 1, 1960
Pursuant to law the Civil Service Commission met this date.
Members present: John Enghauser, chairman; Hans Reiss, member,
and A. C. Blasing, secretary.
After due consideration of the rules and regulations governing
specifications of duties and advancement of rank within the
police department, Reiss moved, seconded by Enghauser that said
rules and. regulatiore be adopted effective this date.
Chm. Enghauser instructed the secretary that he write a letter
to the village to this effect and if the village sees fit to
appoint anyone the rules and regulations are now available.
A copy of the old rules and 9L'tcopy of the above new rules
will be delivered by hand to the village administrator in the
near future. Also to request the village administrator to make
copies for the commission after they have been studied by
legal council and himself as to the rules and regulations
applying to this village.
Ohm. Enghauser also instructed the secretary to request from the
chief of the department a seniority list of the patrolmen and
that such list show the dates of permanent employment and
certification and that this list be updated as changes occur.
