Minutes of February 4, 1970 Meeting
1 This meeting was held at E Glass' house beginning at 7:30 PM
on February 4, 1970. Present were E C Glass, Commissioner;
W Erickson, Commissioner; and E Frandsen, Police Chief.
2 In the absence of R Hazelrigg, the new Chairman, E Glass
acted as Chairman. W Erickson is secretary in 1970.
3 Commission voted to request of Chief Frandsen a new registry
of police personnel.
4 Commission reviewed "Eligible Register" for Police Patrolman
and noted that four names remain on the register, two of which
are known to be still interested, MARK ERICKSON and EUGENE
SUSEMIHL.
6 Commission reviewed "Eligible Register" for Lieutenant and
noted that two names remain on the register, MELVIN H KILBO
and JOHN J SCHOENECKER
7 Commission reviewed a number of Police Dept personnel with
following results:
a)
5 Commission reviewed "Eligible
Register"
for,Sergeant and noted

that one name remains on the
register,
RONALD W PAVLOCK.
6 Commission reviewed "Eligible Register" for Lieutenant and
noted that two names remain on the register, MELVIN H KILBO
and JOHN J SCHOENECKER
7 Commission reviewed a number of Police Dept personnel with
following results:

8 Commission reviewed police vehicles all radio equipped:
a) 5 - marked cars
b) 5 - unmarked
9 Commission reviewed salary scale of patrolman:
a) Starting salary $725
40 b) Top salary after four years $880

to each patrolman's account.
d) Education incentive program is continuing.
10 Commission adjourned at 10:30 PM.
