City Council
July 15, 2002
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of
Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota was held at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said
City on July 15, 2002 at 7:00 p.m.
The following members were present: Grayson, Johnson, LeSuer, Loomis, and Tremere.
Also present were: Harry Brull, Personnel Decisions International; and Judy Nally,
Administrative Assistant.
Approval of Job Description, Approval of Salarv and Set Date for Candidate
Interviews
The Council discussed adjourning the meeting to a Council Workshop setting in order to
discuss the items in a more informal setting. Mr. Brull stated that he would like input from
the Council and guidance regarding the job description to be shared with the candidates, a
salary range to be used in negotiations with the candidates, and to discuss the next steps
in the process for determining the final candidates. The Council will also discuss potential
dates for the Council interviews with the candidates and determine what additional
meetings will be needed.
MOVED by LeSuer, seconded by Grayson and motion carried unanimously to adjourn and
meet in a Council Workshop immediately following the meeting, and the Mayor will report
back at the City Council meeting on July 16, 2002 of the items that were discussed.
Adiournment
The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 7:11 p.m.
