05-03-38 City Council Minutes
May 3, 1938. Meeting called to order by the chairman(Paul A. Seeman). Members present: Seeman, Reiss, Frandsen, Engelbretson, Johnson Minutes of the previous meeting read. There being no corrections or objevtions, minutes declared accepted as read. Lotion by Engelbretson seconded by Johnson to adopt the zoning ordinance. Seeman, fngelbretscn and Johnson (yes) Frandsen and Reiss (no). A 4/5 vote was required and so the motion did not carry. Motion by Roue seconded by Johnson to reconsider the previous :notion. Seeman, Frandsen, Reiss, Engelbretson and Johnson (yes). The roll call on the previous motion was as follows: Seeman, Reiss, Engelbretson and Johnson (yes). Frandsen (no). And so the ordinance was adopted. 26 'lotion by Reiss seconded by Engelbretson to ;rant building permits to R.E.Gulstrand, Joseph "". Franko and rd. Strommer. Seeman, Frandsen, Reiss En elbretson and Johnson (yea). "potion by Engelbretscn seconded by Frandsen to deny permit to B. Helatlis to operate pop corn wagon on the highways of Golden Valley.
