Wksrsas, a referendum election was duly keld in tie Village of
Golden Valley in Us Oaunty of Mennspin in tke` State of Minnesota,
on tke 90tk day of June , I938 at wki"ek referendum election tks
proposition of issuing certain bftds to tke State of Minnesota,
contained in tkat certain resolution adopted by tke governing body
of said Village of Go Iden Valley on tke 3rd day of. May, I938, was
duly submitted to tke qualified electors tkereof. TX* vote was by
ballot, and was cast in a special ballot box. Tke referendum
election was 1stflly conducted and after tke close tkereof tke
ballots cast tkereat was duty counted and canvassed;-

Now, Tkerefore, Be It Resolved by tke Village council of tke Village
of Golden Valley, Minnesota, tkst tke report of tke election board
skewing 487 ballots cast at said election, of wkick 345 were in favor
of said propositiou and I00 opposed tkersto, be kereby certified.
Tke notion on tke above resolution was seconded by Frandsen and
tke roll call was;
