Oct. 4,1938.
Meeting called to coder by the chairman(Paul A. Seeman). ,
Members presentr Seeman, Frandsen, Engelbretson and Johnson).
Mebbers absent: Reiss.
Minutes of the previous meeting read, There being no correotiom
or objections minutes declared accepted as read.
Motion: by Frandsen°.seoondedljbyr =Jo)inson- to grant the Northers St�►tee
Power Co to erect three joles an North Tyrol Trail and Meadow Lane
and two polew on James Street between Charles and East Street.
Seeman, Frandsen, Engelbretson and Jfahnson (yes.).
Motion by Engelbretson seconded by Johnson that the election
board consist of the Mrs. Silitz,Gould,and Douglas and Mr.
J. Curtis and Joe Schutz.
Frandsen, Seeman, Engelbretson and Joh noon (yes).
Motion by Johnson seconded by Engelbretson to adopt the
following resolution::
"Whereas,& fidelity bond has been issued to cover Otta Wiokstrom,
Treasurer of the Village of Golden Valley,in the sum -of Five
Thousand Dollars(t5000.00),and
"Whereas the amount of the bond should have been Four Thousand
Dollars(4000.00),
Nbw,Therefors it is hereby resolved that the correct amount of the
bond is four thousand dollars(f4000.00),and the surety on siad bond
is hereby authorized it issue and to attach to said bond a rider
correcting the amount of said bond so: that the Same WijlL be four
thousand dollars (4000)

It is further resolved that the Northwestern National Bank b Trust Co
(North American Office) of Minneapolis ,heretofore designated as
depository for the village funds ,be and it hereby is designated as
such depository.
Mationby Engelbretson geoonded by Frandsen 'Ao_:set the village,
levy at' . $750.0.00 to to be. spport coned as fo llowe r $3600 to the
poor aoeount J3000 to the riad and bridge fund and $900 to -the
general acoou*t. and that the clerk forward this information to
the county auditor;

A proposed Gas franchise was read.
Motion by engelbretson seconded by Frandsen to adopt the gas
franchise as read and that letters #1 and #3 be made part of the
record.

Motion by Engelbretson seconded by Frandsen that persons
obtaining permits from the village clerk be permitted to
shoot within the village during the phesant season on property
of which the owners have given consent and that the clerk be
authorized to issue permits.
