Meeting called to aider by the chairm=en (Paul A.Seeman ).
Members present: Seeman, Frandsen, Reiss, Engelbretson, Wilson.
Minutes of the previous meeting read. There being no corrections
or objections,minutes declared accepted as read.
Motion by Engelbretson seconded by Wilson to adopt the following
resolution:
"Resolved that the municipality of Golden Valley accept the special
offer of membership in the League of Minnesota Municipalities to
Sertember 1, 1939, at half the regular annual dues, or $So, based
on the population shown by the 1930 federal census.
Seeman, Frandsen, Reiss, Engelbertson, Wilson. ( Yes )
Now, Therefore, Be IT RESOLVED: That said petition be and it
hereby is referred to Carroll, an Engineer who shall report
thereon to the Council, with all convenient speed. Said report shall
advise the Council in a preliminary way as to whether in the opinion
of said Engineer the proposed improvement should best be made as
(;xrressly petitioned for, or in connection -pith some other imprcve_ ent
not petitioned for, and as to the probable cost of the improvement
or improvements, if made as petitioned for, or otherwise , and such
other information as may be pertinent to the matter under considertati t'!",f,
Said report shall be in writing and shall be filed by said Engineer
with the Village Recorder not later than February 7. 1939.

Village of Golden
Valley, Minnesota, have
petitioned the Council

Improve the streets of
said platted Addition,
and
Whereas, the said
Village Council has

property owners has
