William Engelbretson deceased.
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss to grant filling station
licenses to Joe Lockett,- Carl Dressel,- and Everett Frandsen.

�;iotion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss to grant 3.2. off sale license
to Max. Feld.

Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen to grant 3.2 on sale licenses
to the Golden Valley Golf Club and the Mpls Park Board for the
Glenwood Chalet

Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss to grant soft drink licenses
to A. Linestone and Max Feld.
Seeman, Frandsen, Reiss Wilson ( Yes )
Motion by Wilson seconded by Frandsen to refund D. Gatten's Oil
Station license fee.
Seeman, Frandsen, Reiss Wilson. ( Yes }
Reiss was appointed acting chairman by Seeman
Seeman offered the following Resolution of Sympathy and moved its
adoption, seconded by Milson
"Whereas, It has pleased the Almighty, to remove from our mi.dtt,
by death,Our esteemed friend and Co -Worker, Who for many years,
occupied a prominent rank in our midst, maintaining under all
circumstances, a character untarnished, and a reputation above
reproach.
Therefore, Resolved, that in the death of Mr. William Engelbret`#t1
the have sustained, the loss -of a friend, whose fellowship it was
an honor,and a pleasure to enjoy; that we bear willing testimony
to his many virtaes,to his unquestioned probity and sincere life;
that we offer to his bereaved family and mourning f riends,over
whom sorrow has hung her sable mantle, our heartfelt condolence,
and pray that infinate Goodness may bring speedy relief to their
burdened hearts, and inspire them with consolations, that hope
in futurity and Faith"in God, give;even in the shadows of the tomb.
Be it further resolved, that in respect to long period of
sincere,and faithfull service Councilman William Engelbretson
has rendered to the Village of Golden Valley, that his place on
the Council of this Village; be left vacant for a period of twenty
days, so that we may show proper respect to his memory.
Resolved, that a copy of these resolutions, properly engrossed,
be presented to the family of our deceased friend.
