Meeting called to order by the chairman, Paul A. Seeman.
Members present; Seeman, Reiss, Tolg, Wilson.
Members absent; Frandsen.
Minutes of the previous meeting read. There being no corrections or objections,
minutes accepted as read.
Additional repairs on the Village Hall furnace were found necessary to put it to
immediate service, and the cost amounted to an increase of $ 43.10 to the original
estimated cost.
Motion by Tolg, seconded by Reiss, that the president be requested to investigate
cost overhead on direct relief in adjoining villages and that he make a report with
view to reducing Gblden Valley overhead.

Motion by Tolg, seconded by Reiss, that the relief contract be referred to the
village attorney for a check -over and that he report to the council.

Motion by Reiss, seconded by Tolg, that the undertaking and indemnity agreement by
W. E. Pence, Lucille B. Pence, Marie B. 7eefe, and Byrne Keefe, secured by a
mortgage be accepted in lieu of a bond to complete gravelling and grading of At"
in Trailee addition and that said person pay mortgage registration tax and registra-
tion fee on said mortgage and upon recording of said mortgage, said plat be deemed
accepted by the Village Council.

Motion by Reiss, seconded by Tole-, that the proper village officer be instructed to
post election notice. Election to be held Tuesday, December 5th, 1939. Hours 8 A.M.
to 8 P.M.

Frank Topel, Mrs. Paul Turner and Mrs. J. Gordon Boyer serve on the election board.

Motion by Tolg, seconded by Reiss, that the plat of the Glen Urbar addition bAL
referred to the village engineer and the planning commission for their approval
or recommendations.
