The meeting was called to order by the chairman Raymond T.Raskop
members present Raskon, Frandsen, Reiss, Tolg, Nilson,
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
kr miartin,iiayor of ST. Loafs Park spoke on keeping Lilac Drive free from
commercial interprises an ppinion of the St Louis Perk Council and on
the Idea of forming a Lilac 'Way Assin C-onsisting of members of Robbinsdab
Golden Valley, St Louis Park and Edina.
Mr Westerberg, mayor of Edina spoke on preserving the beauty of Lilac
Drive.
A Treasuerers report was read and placed on file.
An open disqugzion followed in regard to the improving of roads in Tyrol
Hills.
Lotion by Tolg seconded by Frandsen that the Clerk advertise for bids
for the resurfacing the roads in Tyrol Hills as specified by the Tyr6l
Hills'Committee.

Dr Koontz,chairman of the Golden Valley Planning Commision referred
the applixation from kr.Blom for the erection of 15 overnite cabins
back to the Council. He stated that all aplilications should include
blue prints of Bldg etc.
A petition vacating a part of County Road No. 70 within the N.E.1/4 of
section 29 in the Village of Golden Valley was presented to the Council
by Mr Hague.
Lotion by Frandsen seconded by Tolg
Resolved : That the Village Council of the Village of Golden Va.l&ey
hereby consent to, and approve the petition to the Board"i.of Odunty
Commissioners of Hennepin County for the vacation of that pert of County
Road No.70 within the N.E.1/4 of section 29 in the Village of Golden
Valley

be granted to Rae Locketz and im.Schindler

A letter from John Doran requesting the Transfer of his 3.2 and on sale
Hard Liquor licenses to kr-Edward K.Knoblauch was read.
Motion by Tolg seconded by Frandsen that the 3.2 and the on sale Hard
Liquor licenses of John Doran be transferred to mr.Edward Knoblauch.

A letter from kr AurtherJohnson recuesting the Posting of a closed road

A letter from Lr Geo.Brouillette and bar Geo.Skille requesting permising
to build two modern homes and asking modifications of the lot line
regulations was read. This letter was reffrred to the Golden Valley
Planning Commision
A letter from Ir.Nels Frandsen dedicating a certain strip of land for the
purpose of a highway to the Village was read
This letter was laid over until the next meeting.
A petition was presented to the Council recuesting that eighteen names
be withdrawn from the petition favoring the permit for a store on Golden
Valley Raod and the Lilac Drive ( also known as the Beltline Highway..,'.
9nother petition consisting of 6 names opposed the granting of a permit
for a store on Golden Valley road and the Lilac Drive
Justlee of the Peace Carl Quist read a letter from the Health Officer
in regard to the dump off 19th Ave and Glenwood Parkway
