The meeting was called to order by the chairman Raymond T.Raskop.
Members present : Ra,skop,Frandsen, Reiss, Tolg, Wilson.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
A Treasurers report was read and placed on file.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Tolg to grant the Mpls Gas Light Co. permit
for the extension of its mains as requested.

Motion by Tolg seconded by Reiss to adopt the following resolution
UEREAS, separate petitions signed by the owners of more
than 511 in frontage of the real property abutting on the parts of
streets named in the petition as the location of the improvement
oetitioned for have been filed with the Village Clerk, asking for
the grading, paving, or macadamizing of the road bed and work 3noi-
dental thereto, including the setting of curb and gutter stones, lay -
ix; drainpipes and constructing necessary culverts and drains in
Tyrol Hills and in "fest Tyrol hills, ixt the Village of Golden valley,
axed v'h%RFAS, the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley has determined that said petitions were sufficient as to form
azad signed by more than the requisite percentage of the owners of
property benefited by said improvement, and after notice of hearing
thereon duly given, determined by resolution that said improverwnts
shall be made, and INUE 2RAS, the necessary plans and specifications for said
improvements were prepared. by Albert Grabor, Engineer, and were ap-
proved by the Village Council, and
NEERFASO a portion of said improvements has been completed
by the aid. of WA labor, and

be completed as soon as conveniently may be done and that all steps
necessary to comply with the provisions of Chapter 382, Laws of 1925,
be taken,

the Village of Golden Valley, as follow$'
1. Said street imp tints in Tyrol mill$ and 'Rest Tyrol
Rills shall be combined and shall be hereafter designated as Street
Improvement No. •

plans and specificaations as may be necessary in order to procure bids
on the remainder of the work rind the Village Clerk shall advertise .for
bids for such work by publication in one issue of the official newspaper
are in the Improvement Bulletin.
3. In carder to finance the cost of said improvements, including
all expenses incidental thereto, the Village shall issue and sell its
Street Improvement ?"arrants, payable from Asseassment$ to be: levied
against benefited property, which warrants shall mature serially in
1 to years and bear interest payables annually, and. than Clerk is
authorized and directed to call for offers to purchase said warrants
in the amount of approxi.saately 12000.00 • Delivery to be made
as soon. as pmoible, ?but in any crane within sixty days.

The chairman presented the question of purchasing a Police car for
the village.
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss that tAis matter be tabled.

The chairman asked the approval of the Village Council on his appointilig
Mr.Homberger and Mr.Fritzen to Special afternoon patrol duty.
Motion by Tolg seconded by Frandsen that the special patroling service
be continued Saturday,Sunday and Holliday afternoons for the rest of
the summer.

The rental fee of the Village Hall was descussed and referred to the Bldg
Committee for their suggestion.
Motion by Tolg seconded by Reiss that the Council approve the chairman's
appointment of Mr Enghauser and Ur.Juno as special police officers,there
term to turminate Dec.31 of each calendar ear.

Motion by Tolg seconded by Reiss that the Clerk be authorized to purchase
$500.00 Bonds for each of the two special police, the cost not to exceed
10.00 each.

The chairman asked the council to confirm his appointment of Jim Sweeney
as weed inspector.
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Tolg to approve the appointment of Jim
Sweeney as weed inspector and that his term expire Dec.31,1940.

The Village Clerk was instructed to look up maps 6f the Village

Highway Commissioner to install Sodium Lights at the intersections of
Glenwood Ave, eth Ave, and 19th Ave on the Belt Line Highway.

part, and the Village of Golden Valley, an incorporated village of the
County of Hennepin, State of Minn., party of the second part;
O'ITivESSETH, That the said party of the first parr, for value received,
hereby dedicates to said party of the second part a strip of land across
premises located in the 'County of Henn, within the corporate limits of
seconded party, for the purposes of a highway, described as follows;
