to designate the location of Trunk Hightrrxy TTo. _.V�formerly design -.ted Trunk
Ii ^htray TTo. 188 through the Village of Golden Val mr.._ as shown
upon the plan which is presented horoyrith and made a part hereof, and
'VEMRE.A,S, said Co=dssioner of Highviays proposes to construct and improve
said Trunk Highirmy through said Y111 ;e`__ and has prepared plans for said
construction and improvement, a copy of which said plans are presented hexer�.rith and
made a part of this resolution; and
I'MMEAS, the construction and improvement of said Trunk Highway; Roadway
or Structure, requires a change in the grade of the streots in said Village
along and upon which said Trunk High -ray pa8ses, to provide greater width or capacity
necessrry for the accormodation of the village and the highzmy traffic; and

improved through said Village — in accordance with said plans and the
standard TIinnesota Highway Specifications and upon the grade designated therein;

BE IT RESOLVED, that the location of said Trunk Highway and the said plans
and specifications for the construction and improvement of said trunk highways
through said Vil]Rge be and the sane hereby are approved; and

Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen to adopt the Following resolution:
SAS, the Commissioner of Highways of the State rat 1T:innesota has now
determined to designate and make permanent the location of Trunk.Highivay Vo.__25
-formerly designated Trunk Highvra,y No. , as the same traverses the
Village of Gaulden Valley , as shoves, upon the plan and map hereto
attached and ma*a a part hereof, and
TEMAS, said Commil-ssioner of Highmuys proposes to construct and improve
said Trunk Highway No. "75 through said Village and has
prepared plans) specifications,: -and special provisions far said construction, and
SEAS, said construction and improvement is to be accomplished vrith
the aid of Federal finds, and
TMEREAS, said project and said plans, in order to participate in Federal
funds, require thb approval of the Federal Public Roads Administration, and
WHEREAS, said Public Roads Administration requires as a condition pre-
cedent to such approval the assutta.nce and covenant that the v�U1U'-e of golden 'Val
will not license or permit hereafter, any encroachment of any nature, including
curb gas pumps or gas stations or billboards or other structures of any kind What-
soever, on the right of vaay of said Trunk.,H.ighvmy WQl 55 within the corporate

WHEREAS, in the furtherance of the public well being and saf'ey it is
desirable and necessary to elitnin&te traffic hazards by eliminating any encroachments
whatsoever now-or'hya"after existing in or upon the said. Trunk Highimy right of way;
NOVI, THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED, that said
Village does hereby agree and
covenant that
it.will never permit or
suffers within its corporate limits, any
encroachment
of any kind whatsoever,
including curb gas pumps and gas stations,
billboards or
other structures of any
kind vThatsoever, upon the right of way of
Trunk Highway
No. 55 as shovan on
the plan and maps hereto attached and sub-
mitted by the
Department of Highways,
State of Minnesota;

permit, or grant, or give any leave or liberty or any other consent of whatever
form for the construction or maintenance of any encroachment Whatsoever, including
