The meeting was called to order by the Chairman Raymond T.Raskop
Members present Raskop, Frandsen, Reiss,Tolg Wilson (Yes )

meeting held Nov.22,1940 were read and approved.
A treasurer report was read and placed on file
A report from the Golden Valley planning Commission was read
Lotion by Tolg seconded by xetss that the report from the Golden Valley
Planning Commission in regard to the issuing of a permit to operate
a lunch room at six Avevo. and Lillac iJrive be adopted

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that
sealed bids will be received at the next
regular meeting of the Village Council
Of the Village of Golden Valley, Min-
nesota, to be held 'on Tuesday, the 17th
day of December, 1940, at 5:00 o'clock
P.M., at the Village Hall in said Vil-
lage, -for the sale to said village of the -
following 'separate items of materials to
be used' in the construction of a high-
way bridge located at 19th Avenue North
and Lenox Avenue in said Village:
1. 34 Cubic yds.' of concrete sand
delivered.
60 Cubic yds. of concrete binder
stone, delivered.
2. 100 lbs. No. 10 annealed wire.
100 lbs: No'. 16 annealed wire.
100 lbs. 6 -Penny nails.
100 lbs. 10 -Penny nails.
3. 560 lbs, pipe rail as per speci-
fications on file with the Clerk
of said Village.
�. 10 tons of coke.
Fuel oil (kerosene or gasoline) in
such amounts as required.
5. 2 tons of baled straw or ,bulk
6. 6a pieces of 2 by 4, 6 ft. in
length.
44 pieces of 2 by 4, 16 ft. in
length.
160 lineal ft. 2 by 4.
14 pieces of 1 by 4, 16 ft. in
length.
10 lbs, shingle nails.
10 lbs. roofing nails.
The village council of the Village of
Golden Valley reserves the right to re-
ject any and all bids as its interest may
appear.

Motion by Tolg seconded by Reiss to adopt the following resolution.
-Resolved,That to conform with the provisions of the Laws of 1939,
erection 1 the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, hereby
approves the classifications of the attacted list of forfeitdd lands
located in said village as non conservation.

of Golden Valley request the County Commissioners to sell these lots to
the Village of Golden Valley for park, playground and other public
purposes.

that the Village Council adopted their speed zones thn-aggh the Village
of Golden Valley
