3,inutes of the last meeting were read and approved
A report was given by Arvid Johnson W.P.A.forman.
The Council approved the request from the N.P.A. forman to rent a
cement mixer to be used on,the Bellmont Bridge ?project #818 -unit #2
Motion by Fr&gdsenosdeandVby Tolg to grant the N.'dr.Bell Telphone Co.
permit to erect poles as requested.

A repott from the Road Committee was ordered placed on file.
A letter from Joseph Mollen was read and placed on file.
Motion by Tolg seconded by Retss thatthe Golden Valley Garden Club
have use def the Village Hall on the 2nd Friday of each month.

The Village attorney explained the contract submitted by the Suburban
Hennepin County Relief Board and approved its adoption.
Y otion by Tolg seconded by Frandsen to adopt the following resolution:
Be. it Resolved, that the contract submitted by the Suburban Henn.
County Relief Board of the County of Hennepin for the administration
and supervision of poor relief in the Village of Golden Valley be
acceptddand approved. and Be it futher resolved, That the groper
officers of said Village,. -of Golden Valley be directed to execute said
contract in duplicate and when executed to return one of said contracts
to the Suburban Henn -County Relief Board.

The chairman of the Council reappointed Hans Reiss to represent the
Village at meetings of Relief,SurI I Commodities and the like, and
he shall make such reports and recommendation to the Council as may be
appropriate under the circusstances.
A bid on materials to be used on the Belmont Bridge project #818
unit #2 was opened and read.
Motion by Tolg seconded by Frandsen that the W.P.A. forman be per�itted
to make the necssa.ry purchase of lumber and nails required from the bid
submitted by the Golden Valley Lbr. Co. and that the Council endeavor
to get more bids on materials to be used on the Belmont Bridge project
#818 unit #2.

Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the Council gn on record as a
body extending their thanks to kr.Tolg for his sincere and generous
efforts during the past year.
