Mr.Burnell asked the Council for periission to have certain lots filled
in the Glenwood Addition

A letter from the State of Minn dept. of Highways requesting the Villag
offickil of Golden Valley to -ssume the m-intenj,nce of the service
drive connecting the picnic area adjacent to Glenwood Ave and Lilac
Drive with drunkk highway #100, was read
Motion by Wilson seconded by Reiss that this matter be tabled.

The Village Attorney gave a report on his findings and recosx,_rend�.dion
for the new ordinance book
Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the Clerk be instructed to
proceed with the ordinance book along the lines recommended by the
Village Attorney

The contract from Bonander Co was appnoved by the Village Attorneyand
he recommended its adoption.
The chairman referred the new contract with the Craig Co to the Village
attorney

The chairman instructed the Police Dept. to report any da,.:ages of the
surfaced roads to the Treasurers
A letter from the Golden Valley Sportsman Club recuesting the .Council to
issue permits to discharge firearms in Golden Valley during pheasant
season was read.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Busch that this matter be tabled until the
next council meeting

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley !inn. was held at
the Village Hall in said Village on the 23rd day of Sept. at 6.30P.M.
The following members were present Raskop, ReladsBnsch Wilson

Bids for a police car were opened and read
Motion by Nilson seconded by Reiss:: that the Council accent the bid
from the Williams rotor Co. for a 1942 Dodge with air condition
deliverd $525.00

resolution:
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEEDING AND DEDICATION TO THE VILLAGE OF GOLDEN
VALLEY OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED LOTS IN GLEN URBAN ADDITION THERETO FOR USE
FOR PUBLIC PARK PURPOSES
The Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley in meeting duly assembled

this day of lt= 1941 do resolve as follows:
Whereas, residents of the Glen Urban Addition to the Village of Golden Valley,
County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, have orally petitioned the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley to accept the dedication of two lots
in said Addition to the Village for public park purposes,
Whereas, a deed to the said two lots Las been presented, delivered to, and
accepted by said Council,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVIM: That the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley does hereby accept the said deed and dedication of the fblbowing
described two lots:
Lots 12 and 13 in Block 2, Glen Urban Addition to the Village of
Golden Valley, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, according
to the plat thereof.
