The meeting was called to order by the chairman; Raymond T. Raskop.
Members present- Raskop) Frandsen, Reiss, Busch, and Wilson.
Minutes of the regular council meeting held March 3) 1942 were read.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Busch that the minutes stand approved as read.

A treasures report was read and ordered placed on file.
A letter from tile Planning Commissi-,n in regard to the Nob Hill Platt
was read.
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss that an inspection tour be made of
the Nob Hill Unit I Addition before final acceptance be made.

A letter from the Planning Commission in regard to the Soft Drink Stand
located on Wayzata Road and Winnetka Ave. was read.
The chairman referred this letter to the road committee. The Road Committe
was instructed to report back to the council at the nexjr metting.

A letter from Mr. Thompson asking the council to transfer all Turf license
to Norman Garvey was read.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the Village Attorney be
instructed to have Mr. Hensler write the Compensation Insurance for the
Village.

Village.

Motion by Reiss seconded by ftandsen to adopt the following resolution:
_ILS, by action of the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Coun
ty of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, a special assessment was duly levied on
certain property abutting on the streets included in Street Improvement leo. 2,
to wits Meadow Lane, Janalyn Road, Glencrest Avenue, Parkview Terrace, and West
rood Drive, said irij)rovement consisting of grading, paving, or macadamizing the
roadbed, setting curb and gutter stones, laying drains and constructing necessa
culverts, all in said streets and fo m the benefit of property abutting said
streets; and

appealed from said special assessment to the District Court of Hennepin County,)
setting forth various grounds on which they sought to have said special assessment
set aside as to the property owned by them and abutting on Westwood Drive; and
