Minutes of the Council meeting held July 7,1942 were read.
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss that the minutes be approved
as read.

Minutes of the special Council meeting held July 10,1942 were read.
Motion by Busch seconded by Reiss that the minutes be corrected to
read that before purchasing said fire equipment, it should be
tested by the underwriters to receive there specifications so that
Golden Valley receives a Class 9 rateing.

A Treasurers report was read by the Clerk and Orddred placed of ''fib
A letter from the fire Committee was read and ordered placed on fit
Mr. Aurther Campbelljohairman of the fire committee, and Mr,
Schutterworth,of the Northern States Power Co. gave reports on
Fire Sirens.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the Clerk bf instructed
to advertise for bids on Fire Sirensto. Golden Valley a class
9 rating. Bids to be opened at the neeRt louncil meeting.

The Village Attorney submited a proposed Milk Tax Ordinance.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Busch that the Milk Tax ordenance
be approved as read and a first reading be given.

Motion by Reiss seconded by Busch to adopt the following resolution.

Hennepin County as non-consorvat-_on and for sale, pursuant to Laws of
Minnesota for 1935, Chaptar 'AF36, Section 1, as am{ended, which list of
Unds is designated as LittNnV `i 1; July �19 .2, and
WHEREAS, this Council has made a complete: examination of all facts
and circumstances relating to such parcels,
NOW THEREFORE, actin, purusan.t to said Section 1, Chapter 386, as
amended,
BE 1T RESO VEDS that tha Village Council of said Vil.' of
