Minutes of the Council meeting held June 20,1944 were read.
Motion by Roe seconded by Frandsen that the minutes stand approved
as read.

A letter from Oscar Jenson asking the Council to remove the public picnic
grounds on Nob -Hill was read.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the Mayor be authorized to
write the Highway Dept and take the necessary steps to overcome the
public's missuse of the picnic grounds.

A letter from Assessor , John Gaffney was read and placed on file.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Moo that the Council most as the Board of
Equilization at the Pillage Hall July 12,1944 from 4 to 6 P.M.

1944, at eight o'clock P. M. and
will at said time and place con-
duct a hearing and act upon; a peti-
tion duly filed with the Village
Clerk for vacation of the follow-
ing described streets in said Vil-
lage:
All of Valley Place as laid out
and dedicated in the plat of Ty-
rol Hills according to the map and
plat thereof on file and of record
in the office of the Register of
Deeds in and for Hennepin Coun-
ty, Minnesota.
