r MINUTES OF THE FETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF GOLDEN VALLEY ON JULY 18, 1944
The regular meeting of the village council of the Village
of Golden Valley was called to order on July 18, 1944, at 8:30 o'clock
P.M., at the Village Hall.
On moti by Curtis Moe, seconded by Hans Reiss, Charles Franzen
was elected temporary chairman.
Those present were Curtis Igoe, Hans Reiss and Charles Franzel�.

The matter of vacating Valley Road came on for hearing and,
after some statements by Mr. Landry, one of the petitioners, the meeting,
on motion duly seconded and carried, was adjourned to the next regular
meeting of the village council.
A request having been made by Mayor George Hanson and Village
Recorder Gail D. Milson that all but routine business be laid over until
the next meeng, a motion was thereupon made that the meeting adjourn
which was pro�erly carried and the meeting declared adjourned.
On motion duly made and seconded, the council granted the 4-H
Club the right to use the Village Hall on August llth, 1944, subject to
the approval of the village attorney that the village is protected from
loss by accident at such meeting.
