Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe that the question " Shall the
Village of Golden Valley bond itself for 44500.00 for the purpose
of Building a Fire Station in the Village of Golden Valley'", be
submitted to the voters at a special Village election to be held
in connection with the General Election Nov. 7,1944

VALLEY" ADOPTED MAY 3, 1938, AND WuICH ORDINANCE IS MORE
SPECIFICALLY KNOWN AS 1139. AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE c
LOCATION, SIZE, USE AND HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS, THE ARRANGE-
MENT OF BUILDINGS ON LOTS AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION IN
THE VILLAGE OF GOLDEN VALLEY, AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOT-
ING THE HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, Mf7NIENCE, PROSPERITY AND
GENERAL WELFARE IN THE SAID VILLA'
AND FOR SAID PURPOSE
TO DIVIDE THE VILLAGE INTO DISTRIJTS."
The Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley do ordain as follows: ---
Section 1. That Section 4 of said Zoning Ordinance of Golden Valley, en-
titled "Community Store District" be. amended by inserting in said Section 4
after Subsection (i ) the following:
(ii) Lot rorty bine (49) and that part of Lot
Fifty-seven (57) Auditor's Subdivision
No. 322, lying north of Lot Fifty-six
(56) and between the east line of Lot
Fifty-five (55) and the extension north
to Sixth Avenue North of the east line of
said Lot Fifty-six (56), all in Section
Thirty-two (32), Township One Hundred
Eighteen (118), Range Twenty-one (21),
Hennepin County, Minnesota.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and publication.

AN ORDINANCE TO APPEND "THE ZONING
ORDIIA_NCE OF GOLDEN VALLEY"
The Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley Do Ordain as follows:
notion 1. That Section 4 of said Zoning Qrdinance of Golden Val-
ley, being Ordinance No. 39 of the December 1, 1941, Compilation of Rules of
Procedure Ordinances and By -Laws, be amended by inserting before Sub -section
(j) the following:
(iii). Beginning from the intersection of
Winnetka and 6th Ave. No. Roads, 330 ft. East to a.
point beginning 425.4 ft. South, 100 ft. East, and
425.4 ft. North, thence 100 ft. Fest, in the Village
of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, 'Minnesota.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication.

The Village attorney recommended that June Ave be vacated in front
of 1646 two low lots 421, and # 22
Motion by Moe seconded by Wilson that the general features of the
proposed Platt of Kennedy SO. West Tyrol Hills be tinitively approved
with the understanding that the Council may reject the completed plait
and sir. Kennedy pay 161 all grading of June Ave to lots #21 and #22
as shown by the prosposed platt , June ave to be the same wideth as
Glen View Road,

known as "39". An ordinance reg-
ulating the location, size, use and
height of buildings, the arrange-
ment of buildings on lots and the
density of population in the Vil-
lage of Golden Valley, and for the
purpose of promoting the health,
safety, order, convenience, pros-
perity and general welfare in the
said village and for said purpose
to divide the village into districts."
