Special Council meeting Nov. 29,1943
Persuant to due call andnotice the Village Council met at the Village
Hall at 8.30. P.M.
vlembers present Hanson Reiss and 'Wilson
Members absent Frandsen and Moe
The chairman called for bids on the new fire station.
One bid was received from Mr. Swan Erickson for the sum of $7,042.00
At the request ofthe clerk the president telephoned the Village
Attorney to ask him to report at the meeting and advise the Council
on the legal proceedure to be folleted in acting on the bide.
The Village attorney aditeddthe Council to have more then one bid.
Motion by Reiss seconded by 'Nilson that the Council reject all
bids received abd that the Clancill advertise for new bids on fhe
fire station. Bids to be opened Dec.6,1944.

Notice is hereby given that the
Village Council of Golden Valley
.will receive bids at the office of
the Village Clerk until 8 p.m. Dec.
,, 6, 1944, which will be opened at
the Village Council Chambers in
the Village Hall at 8 p.m.Wed-
nesday, Dec. 6, 1944, for the build-
ing of a fire station building in ac-
cordance with plans and specifica-
tions drawn by Enghauser and
Brandhorst, and which plans and
specifications can be obtained at
the home of the Village Clerk,
4009 Glenwood Ave.
All bids must be sealed and ac-
companied by a cash deposit or
certified check payable to the Vil-
lage of Golden Valley for not less
than 10 per cent of the bid.
The Village Council reserves the
right to reject any and all bids.
