The meeting was called to order by the President Geo. E. Hanson
Members present Hanson F andsen Reiss Moe and Nilson
Minutes of the Council meeting held Febr. 20,1945 -were read.
Potion by Reiss seconded by Moe that the minutes stand approved
as read.

A letter from the Meadowbrook Student Council thanking the Council
for cleaning off stating rinks was read and filed.
A letter from the Planning COmmission asking the Council to honor
bills -ore°stinted to the extent of $50.00 for miscellaneous items
that the planning commission may wish to purchase during the year
1945 was read and filed.
k otion by Moe seconded by Frandsen that the Council authorize
payment of bills of the Planning Commission in the amount not to
excedd $50.00 for the year 1945.

Bldg Inspectors, Police, and Treasurers reports were read an d filed
1,otion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the proposeal of Yr Foes
for Insurance Covering motorized equipemesnt of the Villages be accepted
on the f�711.swing bases : Fires, Thief, Tornado, Comprehensive and
collision, the latter coverage to be on the following bases Dump
Truck $100.00 deductible, Squad Car 450.00 deductible, Old Fires Tr1ck
$100.00 deductibles, New Fire Truck 4100.00 dedLuctible and Tractor,
Dessiesl and Trailer none. Valuations to be the same as in 1944.

Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that John Enghauser be appointed
Justice of the Peace to fill the unexpired term of Wm Sweeney

NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION
TO REZONE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley will meet at the Village Hall in
said Village on the 20th day of March,
1945, at 8:00 o'clock p.m., and will at
said time and place conduct a public
hearing and act upon the petition of Rob-
ert Moser and others to rezone from
"Open Development" uses to commercial
uses the following described property lo-
cated in the Village of Golden Valley:
"Beginning at the intersection of Belt
Line Highway and Medicine Lake
;Road, thence North 60 rods, thence
West 40 rods, thence South 60 rods,
thence to point of beginning, in Section
28, Township 118, Range 21, Govern-
ment Lot 3, all in the County of Hen-
nepin and State of Minnesota."
This, Notice is posted in accordance
with a resolution of the Village Council
duly adopted at its regular meeting held
on February 20 and in accordance with
the Ordinance for such case made and
provided. -
