$25.00 to the Henn. County Agriculture Society for the 1annual
Henn. County Fair.

A letter from Mr. Wm Howard ) shairman of Delphian Vets Bldg Committee
requesting the Council to authorize grading of the alley of the
laid out Block 1 Delphian Heights was read.
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Moe that the president aDnoint a
committee to report back on the request to grade the alley laid out
in Block 1 DelDhain Heights.

Council to appoint four new members to fill vacancies on the Planning
Commission, was read and filed.

Neil Rydmarck and Leonard Bies be apDo*nted to the Golden Valley
Plannin Commission. Term to expire Dec. 31)1947.

The president announced a public hearing on the netition of R.W. Mose
and others to rezone for commercial use the following described
property.
Beginning at the intersection of Belt Line highway and 1`''edicine
lake Rd; thence iiorth 60 rods, thence %lest 40 rods) thence South
60 rods) thence to point of beginning , in section 28, Township 118
Renge 21, Government lot 3, all in the County of Hennepin and State
of kinnesota.
A letter from Dr Riley asking the Council not to rezone the Yloser
property, was read and filed.
The Clerk announced that kr Gaffney; Village Assessor) had checked
the Moser petition for rezoning and found that over 51 nercent
of the nronerty owners involved had signed the Detition.

A petition with 48 signitures op -posing rezoning of the Moser property
was read and filed.
Ir. Berg, attorney for It.r. poser and Mr LeZerty spoke in favor of the
rezoning.
The Village attorney read an opinon from the attorney General and
discueed the legal problems involved in the Moser petition.
Yr Blojo spoke against rezoning the Moser property.
Mr Jacobson spoke against rezoning and stated in his opinon a test
of the validity of the zoning ordinance should be welcomed by the
Council.
A letter from the Golden Valley Planning Commission) recommending that
the rezoning of the Moser property, be dennied) was read and filed.
Motion byWilson seconded by Reiss that the Council accept the recol"MU—
endation of the Planning Commission) and that the petition to rezone
be dennied.

Whereas the Village Council of the
Villageof Golden Valley desires on its
own motion to grade and improve the
following described alleys in said village,
all alleys opened and dedicated in Block
One (1) Delphian Heights, second unit
in said village as authorized by Chapter
382, Laws 1903 now, therefore, be it
resolved by the Village Council of Gold-
en Valley that• it is deemed necessary
and expedient to grade and improve the
following described alleys in said village,
all alleys duly dedicated and opened in
Block One (1) Delphian Heights, second
unit in said villlage and that on the 17th
day of April, 1945, at 8 o',clock p.m.
this council will meet at the Village Hall
in said village and will at said time and
place hear the parties interested therein
in reference to such improvement and
will decide whether or not to undertake
such improvements in whole or in part.
