Minutes of the Council meeting held April 17,1945 were read.
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Moe that the mir_ates stand apo
roved as read.

be granted to Clifford Adams.

Mr Moe) chairman of the licenses committee recommed that the
sogt drink lieense issued to Donald Hyer be transferred to
Clifford Adams.
Motion by Moe seconded by Frandsen that Donald Hyer's soft drink
license be transferred to Clifford Adams.

granted to the Golden Valley Golf Club.

The Clerk read the resignation of Harold Swenson frog the Plannig
Commission
Motion by Moe seconded by Frandsen t'nat the resignation be accepted

The Bresident recommedded that Mr. N.A. Moes fill the unexpired
terns of Harold Swenson
Motion by Nilson seconded by Moe that W A Moes be appointed to the
Golden Valley Planning @ommission to fill the unex-oired term of
Harold Swenson. Term to expire Dec.31,1947

A petition from Chester Tomcheck with 74 signitures asking the 94
Council to grant him an off sale liquor license was read.
A letter from the Golden Valley Civic League Inc. apposing the
issuance of any more liquor licenses in Golden Valley was read.
J.E. Johnson, Mrs Beal, Mr Peterson Mr 'leis Mr Quist abjected to
the Council issuing an off sale liquor lisense to Chester Tomcheikk

be dennied because the building was to close to a school
The President r6commeded that the Chester Tomcheck application
'be tabled until the next meeting.

due the Village.
