Minutes of the Meeting of the Village Council
of the Village of Golden Valley
June 19, 1945
The meeting was called is order at S p.m. by George E. Hanson, President.
Members presents Hanson, Frandsen, Reiss.
Members agsents Moe, Wilson.
The minutes of the meeting of y 15 were read. Motion by Reiss, seconded
by Frandsen, to approve the minutes as read.
Roll call on the motions Hanson, Frandsen, Reiss - Yes.
The minutes of the special meeting held June 12 were read. lotion by
Reiss, seconded by Frandsen, that the minutes stand approved as read.
Roll call on the motions Hanson, Frandsen, Reiss - Yes.
In response to an inquiry from the president, William T. Howard stated
that he would report at the next meeting on the results of the inquiry
he was to make of the Minneapolis City Council which was authorized at the
meeting of June 12.
The President announced that the public hearing on the petition of C.
Hoening, Jr., and others for an improvement in Delphian Heights, Second
and Third Units, adjourned on June 12, until June 19 was opened. The
President requested any member of the public present who wished to speak
in favor or or in opposition to the improvement to state his position.
No person appeared*
Motion by Frandsen, seconded by Reiss, to adopt the following resolutions
RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley
that the public hearing on the petition of C. Hoening, Jr. and
others to improve Delphian Heights Second and Third Units and
the following described streets therein, Byrd Avenue, McNair
Avenue, Valley View Drive, Meridian Drive, Zenith Avenue North,
Peter Pan Lane, and Park View Boulevard, by the construction
of a sanitary sewage disposal system be, and the same hereby
is, adjourned and continued until July 3, 1915, at 8 p.m., in
the Village Hall, Village of Golden Valley, at which time and
place the Council will hear all parties interested therein.
