The meeting was called to order by the President Geo E Hanson

Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss that the minutes stand
approved as read.

A letter from the Glenview Terrace Veteran's League was read and
filed.
Motion by Wilson seconded by Reiss that a letter from John Gibbon
which was read be referred to the Planning Commission

A letter from the City of Robbinsdale stating that it would have
to discontinue water service to the Village of Golden Valleylas
of June 1)1946 was read.
Motion by Reiss seconded by koe that the letter be filed and that
the clerk be instructed to look over the original water contract
and report back at the next meeting,

A letter from the Golden Valley Civic League Inc. requesting the
council to settle the Village Sewage disposal by vote of the
residents, was read.
Motion bjry Wilson seconded by Frandsen that the request be tabled
until the next meeting.

to post and publish the usual notices thereof.

74.' Mr Swenson reported that a location for the proposed fire station
on the Belt Line Hghwy was approved by the fire Underwriters
InspecttelLs Bureau. -
The president appointed Councilmen Reiss Moe Frandsen Wilson
and fireman Eugene Thotland a committee to inspect the ptoposed
fire station property and report back at the next special
council meeting*
