The President called for bids on the new trucks.

The bids were turned ever to 8rne Denzin, road supervisor.
Application for a 3.2 on sale and 3.2 off sale licenses for Perry
doodfill were read.
A petition,with 10q signitures,asking the Council to grant these
licenses was read.
A petition, with 89 signitureep asking the Uouncil not to grant
these licenses was read.
A letter from W R Riley asking the Council not to gr4nt licenses
for a saloon at the corner of Golden Valley Rd and the Lilac Blvd
was read and filed.

Mr Smith reported that the City of mpls wetld not furnish water to
the Glenview Terrace district.
Mr Smith stated that he had no recommendations to make, except thet
a check should be made on the cost of a small water supply system
and then put it up to the voters.

Motion by Wilson seconded by Heise that a first reading be given
the ordinance entitled" An Ordinance Creating Sewer District No 1"
"The Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley do ordain
as follows:
Section 1 There is hereby created and established a Storm
Sewer district in tine Village of Golden Valley to be known
as Storm Sewer District No 1, the boundaries of which shall
be as follows:
The actual boundary lines of this drainage area are shown
on the plat thereof prepared by Hitchcock and Lsterb rook
lnc)Lngineersip and which plat is on file with the Village
Qlerk and which is dated Oct.15,1945.
Section 2. This ordinance shall ta4e effect from and after
its publication.

the rules be so far suspended that the said ordinance be give -i its
2nd reading and placed upon it's final passage,

The President opened the hearing on the grading and graveling of as
alley in Block one Glenview Terrace.
No one objected.
Motion by Moe secondee by Reiss to adopted the following resolution
Whereas pursuant to reolution adopted bythe Village Council Oct.
11,1945 and Oct 18,1945, the Village Council has met at the time
and place specified therein and heard all persons interseted
with referrence to proposed improvement of alley in Block one(1)
Glenview +errace be improved by grading and graveling,
NO`N,THEfErORE)BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Golden Valley that said improvement described in said
resolution shall be undertaken, the entire expense thereof to
be assessed against the adjotr ing land owners.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Street Commissioner is hereby
uathorized and directed to make'said improvement in accordance
with plans and specifications to be prepared by the Village E
Engineer.

alley in Block four Delphian Heights be improved by grading and
graveling was read.
Motion by Frandson seconded by koe to adopt the following resolution
BE IT RESOLVED by the Vtllage Council of the Village of Golden
Valley that it is deemed necessary and expedient to,repair by
grading and graveling the alley in Block four;Delphian Heights
and that on the 5th day of Dec. 1945 at 8:00 P.M. this Council
will meet at the Village Hall in said Village and will at said
time and place hear the parties interested therein in reference
to such improvement in whole or in part
