Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of'Golden Valley was held
at the Village Hall on Monday, November 8, at 7:30`P!�: The
following members were present: Pinch, 'Putnam and Reiss;
Absent: Frandsen.
Following a, continued discussion of the matter of police
car radio service, Trustee Pinch moved to enter into a contract
with Hennepin County and to terminate the current contract with
the City`of Minneapolis, following assurance after due applica-
tion that the service can be provided`by the Sheriff's radio
facilities. The motion was seconded`by Putnam and received
the following vote: Pinch, Putnam and Reiss - Yes.'
The°meeting was opened to a further consideration of
filling the vacancy in the office of President. Trustee
Pinch moved to appoint Mr. A.G. Stasel, 311 Turners Crossroad,
to fill the unexpired term of W. M. Cordner, ending December 31,
1949. The motion was seconded by Trustee Reiss and'unanimously
approved.
Motion by Putnam to authorize the Village Engineer to
inspect the Woodlawn Park addition, and to report his findings
to Mr. Kr.ne, for him in turn to notify the platters in writing
of all additional work to be done before the plat can be given
final approval. Motion was seconded by Pinch and carried
unanimously.
Motion by Pinch seconded by Putnam and carried to adjourn.
