05-15-51 City Council Minutes168
Mr. Moes and Mr. Boyer stated that a drainage problem
could result from the excavation being carried on.on the
Moser property south of 19th Avenue and south of Belmont.
Addition. Their concern was in regard to sand that might
be washed into the drain the system underneath Belmont
Park. As this property abuts on a county road, it was
suggested that Terzich call on the county highway engineer
to inquire of the requirements thatlthey might have pertain-
ing to a fill which might jeopardize drainage underneath a
county road.
Motion by Putnam seconded by Stark carried to authorize
the City of Minneapolis to oil Xerxes Avenue North between
Plymouth and McNair, except park property ftontage, and to
proceed with the spreading of the assessment for the oiling
work don6 on Xerxes Avenue for the years 1949 and 1950.
