BOARD OF TAX REVIDI
JULY 17 1956
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley reconvened as the Board of Tax Review on July 17, 1956 at 7:30
o'clock P.M. Following members were present: Bies, Nadasdy, Stark, and Teresi;
and the following arrived at 9:47 o'clock P.M. Rahn.
Moved by Bies seconded by Stark carried the reading of the minutes of the
meeting held on June 28, 1956, be dispensed with and that the said minutes
be approved as submitted to each member of the board prior to this meeting,
unless some member of the audience wishes them read. ( The minutes were not read).
Appeal if Mr, Arthur J. Roskcaft, 6945 St. Croix Avenue:
After lengthy discussion it was MOVED by Stark seconded by Bies carried to in-
struct the Assessor, accompanied by Mr. Roy Haeg, Count Supervisor of Assess-
ments, to resurvey the property under discussion, and report their findings to
the Council at the next meeting.
Re: Minneapolis Neuro- Psychiatric Clinic:
Robert Van Hauer introduced Mr. Joseph 7 ffner, council for the Glenwood
Hills Hospital. Mr. Sheffner presented the hospitals case on this matter.
Moved by Rahn seconded by Teresi carried the Council adjourn for a five minute
recess. The Mayor then reconvened the council as the Board of Tax Review.
MOVrrD by Rahn seconded by Teresi carried that the Village Assessor be instructed
to assess the Glenwood ills Hospital and their grounds and equipment there on
the basis as said hospital and grounds were assessed in 1955. Member Stark
voted "NO".
MOVED by Rahn seconded by Teresi carried to adjourn the Board of Tax Review
until July 30,1956, upon which date the meeting will be redonvened in the Vil-
lage Hall in the Village of Golden Valley at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
