VILLAGE COUNCIL
December 8, 1959
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was
held at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on December 8, 1959, at
10:00 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, and Teresi;
and the following was absent: Scherer.
Present were Village Administrator and Clerk, Roger K. Ulstad, Village Attorney,
Stanley D. Kane; Deputy Clerk, Helen Penniman.
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 10:00 o*clock P. M.
Village Election:
The Mayor called the Council to order as a Canvassing Board. The Commissioner
of Registration presented the elections returns and the Council viewed the
voting machines for the Village Election held on Tuesday, December 8, 1959,
as follows:

MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Teresi carried to certify the above election
returns as submitted by the Commissioner of Registration and to declare the
candidates and referenda questions receiving the greatest number of votes
elected to the offices indicated and questions carried.
Canvassine Board - December 8. 1959. Special Bond Elections
The Village Clerk presented the official returns of the Special Election
held in and for the Village on December 8, 1959, as filed in his office by
the Judges of the election for the Village, together with affidavits showing
posting of notice of said election, in accordance with the resolution
adopted by the Council on October 20, 1959.
Said returns and affidavits were examined and found satisfactory and directed
to be placed on file.
Member Flannagan introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption.
"RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS OF SPECIAL ELECTION"

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Teresi and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None.
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. See
Resolutions Book page
Member Teresi introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
"RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS ON BOND
QUESTION SUBMITTED AT ANNUAL ELECTION"
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Flannagan and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Teresi;
and the following voted against the same: None.
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. See
Resolutions Book page '`�.
MOVED by Bies seconded by Teresi carried to adjourn the meeting at 10:30 P.M.
