SPECIAL MEETING
of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL
September 14, 1960
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was held
at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on September 14, 1960, at 1:30
o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi;
and the following was absent: Bies.
Primary Election. September 13. 1960:
The Mayor called the Council to order as a Canvassing Board. The Commissioner
of Registration presented the election returns and the Council viewed the
voting machines for the Primary Election held on Tuesday, September 13, 1960,
as follows:

MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Teresi carried to certify the above election
returns as submitted by the Commissioner of Registration.
Budget for 1961:
Council discussed the proposed budget for the year 1961, as presented by the
Village Clerk, Roger K. Ulstad.
The budget was submitted on the basis of a 30 Mill levy, council reduced the
appropriation for contingency in the amount of $27,200.00, this established a
28 Mill levy.
Acceptance of the budget was deferred to a later meeting.
MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Scherer carried to adjourn the meeting at
6:00 P. M.
